Well done, a very impressive stand which looked well amongst the other stands.

It’s great to see representatives of Holyhead Maritime Museum carrying the RMS Leinster torch to Westminster. In Albert Owen MP, they met with a former merchant seaman who played an important part in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin’s 85th commemoration of the RMS Leinster sinking in 2003. It is heartening to know that Holyhead will mark the centennial with ceremonies which will be rooted in rigorously researched historical fact.

    With very best wishes,

Thank you, Philip. We appreciate your very encouraging remarks. We hope to do RMS Leinster proud in remembering all those who sailed with her on that fateful day. We are also very aware of the good work that you and others at the National Maritime Museum of Ireland are doing towards organising the commemoration events at Dún Laoghaire. With best wishes, The RMS Leinster Team at Holyhead.
