Hi My name is Rachel Harvey, my x2 Great Grandfather John Sutton was aboard the RMS Leinster when it was torpedoed and sank.  His body was never recovered.   I live in St Asaph, Denbighshire, and my parents live in Abergele, Conwy, which is where John Sutton was living, although he was originally from Chester.  We are all intending to come to the memorial and have already taken a drive out to Holyhead to do a ‘reckie’ as my Dad has some mobility issues and we wanted to understand what requirements he may need.  We are all excited to be able to be a part of this memorial and it’s only in the past 5 years we have become aware of the tragedy.  My Great Uncle is also hoping to attend the memorial from Cornwall, his late wife was the granddaughter of John Sutton. I have attached a photograph of John, his family gravestone and a photo of his wife and grandson (my grandfather) who was born 3 months after the sinking and was named after his grandfather John.  My Dad and brother have in turn also been named after John Sutton. We will be proud to represent him and the other members of our family at the memorial. Yours sincerely,  Rachel Harvey
